ShownUp is for real interactions and accountable feedback. The goal is confirmed activity people can understand, not pile-ons, gossip, or revenge.

Keep Feedback Real

Only leave feedback for people you actually interacted with. Keep it specific to the interaction, service, event, or contribution.

No Anonymous Attacks

Do not use ShownUp for harassment, retaliation, bullying, sexualized ratings, hate speech, doxxing, threats, or public accusations of crimes.

Evidence Matters

Negative Standing movement and public unverified placeholders are disabled until legal review is complete. Reports remain private safety tools.

Use Reports Responsibly

Reports are private safety tools. False or abusive reports can lead to account limits.

Respect Privacy

Do not post private addresses, phone numbers, medical information, protected-class claims, financial details, or other sensitive personal information.

Fix Something Wrong

If something on your profile is wrong, ask ShownUp to check it from your account. We keep those items hidden or pending while they are checked, and we preserve accountability records.
