Privacy Policy

ShownUp is built around verified interactions, not anonymous gossip. This page explains the data we use to operate accounts, public profiles, feedback, interactions, safety checks, and billing.

What We Collect

Account details such as your name, email, handle, profile photo, and profile settings. We also store profile activity such as feedback, interactions, reports, check requests, and Standing activity. If you upgrade, payment details are handled by Stripe.

How We Use It

We use your data to authenticate you, show your profile based on your visibility settings, process feedback and interactions, prevent abuse, resolve check requests, operate billing, and improve ShownUp.

Public Profiles

Public profile pages may show your name, handle, Standing, verified feedback, resolution rate, and visible profile details. You can hide or delete your account from settings.

Vendors

We use trusted infrastructure providers such as Supabase for authentication/database services, Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for DNS/security, and Stripe for payments. We do not sell your personal information.

Your Choices

You can request access, correction, export, deletion, or visibility changes for your account data. For help, contact hello@shownup.com.

Important Limitation

ShownUp is not a consumer reporting agency. ShownUp profiles may not be used for employment, housing, credit, insurance, tenant screening, or other eligibility decisions.
