Terms of Service
These terms are the basic rules for using ShownUp. They keep the product focused on verified recognition, accountability, and safety.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use ShownUp. You are responsible for keeping your account email secure and accurate.
Verified Interactions
Feedback and Standing changes should be tied to real interactions, organizations, or contribution activity. False, misleading, or abusive submissions may be removed.
No Screening Use
ShownUp is not a consumer reporting agency. You may not use ShownUp profiles or Standing for employment, housing, credit, insurance, tenant screening, background checks, or similar eligibility decisions.
User Content
You are responsible for what you submit. Do not post harassment, threats, doxxing, hate speech, private information, accusations of crimes, or content meant to shame or attack someone.
Safety Checks
We may hide, remove, limit, or check content and accounts to protect users and the platform. Users can report content and ask ShownUp to check eligible profile activity.
Paid Features
Paid plans and one-time upgrades are processed through Stripe. Prices and features may change, but existing users will be told before material billing changes apply.
